Lending where it counts. 2019 OFN Conference: Lending Where it Counts We heard from leaders of the field, among them President William Jefferson Clinton, one of the industry’s biggest champions, who presented a keynote marking the 25th anniversary of the CDFI Fund. 2019 OFN Conference: Lending Where it Counts The first annual Native CDFI Awards honored Four Directions Community Development Corporation, and Lummi CDFI. Shane Jett also received the 2019 Visionary Leader Award. Lending Where it Counts During a four-day memorable gathering, more than 1,500 CDFI practitioners, investors, partners, and funders convened in the nation’s capital. Together, they celebrated the remarkable work CDFIs do in rural, urban, and Native communities nationwide. From day one until the very end, the 2019 OFN conference offered something for everyone: 119 sessions across 11 tracks, five tours – including four in D.C. and a full day tour of Baltimore — many special guests The days were full and the learning inspiring.
